Ky Hart, Josh Oberleas, Jordan Sherman, Wes Dewitt, Noel Parker, Greg Grahlmann, Kevin Hoffman, Joe Casey, Casey Tango, Caroline Moon, Kyle Johan, and myself put on for a classic Big South fork of the Cache La Poudre lap. 13 people in one pack is definitely too many, but our crew communicated extremely well and the lap went pretty darn smooth.

A quick lap through the Tallulah gorge, with a little carnage to boot. The Tallulah river is dewatered for most of the year, there is a damn and hydro electric plant that divert the water from it's normal course. For a couple weekends in the spring and fall there are recreational releases. These releases will never replenish the ecological damage done by dewatering a delicate ecosystem. These releases do give us a chance to enjoy a spectacular valley and hopefully leave a long lasting impression that dewatering rivers, is not a sustainable energy option.
