Tuesday 13th May saw the opening of the widely anticipated Public Sector Show 2014 at the ExCel London, now in its fourth year, drawing public sector workers, managers and influencers from all over the country. With over 100 exhibitors in attendance, ranging from digital services to fleet management, recruitment to sustainability, the show gave a diverse and informative platform for all who attended as well as a full day of seminars spanning 6 rooms. As well as the exhibitors there were organisations such as the Government Digital Service and the Crown Commercial Service, which were answering peoples questions all day on the latest changes to procurement and platforms that affect the way public sector works. Aingaran Pillai, Zaizi’s CEO, and John Pomeroy, RVP for Europe, Alfresco, began proceedings in seminar room 3, with ‘Simple Solutions for Smart Government,’ a demonstration of Zaizi’s Alfresco solutions within government.
