A new extract of my movie Highlights 2009 with the displays of the Eurofighter, the C-130 Hercules and the Spartan during the Airpower airshow in Zeltweg 2009. The Lockheed C-130 "Hercules" serves with more than 70 nations and is one of the most versatile transport aircraft in the world. With a payload of 19 tons, the "Hercules" still has a range of 3,000 kilometres, permitting it to transport 92 passengers or 64 parachutists as well as 74 stretchers and 2 medics to an operational area. The C27J, produced by the Italian company Alenia, is, so to speak, the small European sister of the Lockheed C-130 "Hercules". The medium-sized multipurpose military cargo plane with its STOL (short takeoff and landing) capacities is a further development of the proven Alenia G222, fitted with technical features (propeller, engines, avionics) of the Hercules. The Eurofighter Typhoon is a fourth-generation multirole fighter developed by the four partner nations in the Eurofighter programme, namely Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Spain. The twin-engined single-seater jet boasts cutting-edge navigation and control systems (fly-by-wire) which ensure high agility at low speeds and generally excellent maneuverability. Shot with a Sony HVR-Z1. Edited on FCP. Not graded. Music by Solar Fields. Filmed and edited by Yannick Barthe, www.aeromedia-concept.ch, www.yannickbarthe.ch

I'm still working on the post production of my movie Highlights 2009. For pass the time, you can discover this new exclusive extract of the Flying Legends at the Duxford Airshow. More footage coming soon. Flying Legends - two words which instantly evoke the very best of classic aircraft displaying at Duxford in one of the world's most celebrated air shows. Duxford is a village in Cambridgeshire, England, some ten miles south of Cambridge. Duxford gives its name to RAF Duxford, a former Royal Air Force airfield that was used as a sector station during the Battle of Britain. Duxford Aerodrome was the home of Douglas Bader's Big Wing during that battle. Duxford airfield later became a fighter airfield for the United States Army Air Forces operating P47 Thunderbolt aircraft, it is now the Imperial War Museum Duxford. Shot with a Sony-HVR-Z1. I'm still working on my aviation movie of the season 2009. A big work of editing. Here is a new extract with some footage shooted during the Dittingen Flugtage 2009. The Pioneer Team Patrol was born from the idea of a group of pilots and flight instructors and thanks to the exceptional assistance of some ex Frecce Tricolori pilots, who have provided the correct training to the other elements of the group. Due to the preparation of the pilots and the fantastic manoeuvrability of the Pioneer 300 the team has been able to perform with a continuous series of rhythmic harmonious figures.
