Transitions has been pioneering the field of aftercare for sex trafficking survivors - helping survivors, after rescue - with healing and finding a new hope and a new future. Join us in saying 'rescue is not enough' and support the work that Transitions is doing to empower girls through the power of a dream. Special thanks to our partners at International Justice Mission (IJM) and Join The Lights. from Abolition International Added 7,837 20 1

Serey was 13 when her freedom was stolen. Tricked by a cousin, Serey was forced to work in a brothel for almost 3 years before being rescued. She was brought to Abolition International's Dream Home in Cambodia where she received protection, trauma counseling, medical attention, education, and time and space to come alive again. While at the Dream Home, Serey discovered she had a passion for cooking. She attended culinary school, where she learned to become an accomplished chef. Now she works in a high-end hotel restaurant in Phnom Penh and is living on her own, independent and free. Serey's (pronounced 'sir-ray') story is based on a true account from Abolition's Dream Home in Cambodia. The Dream Home is an established safe home in Cambodia for young girls rescued from sex trafficking. It isn’t just a safe place for girls rescued from trafficking, it’s a home where they can learn to dream again. Learn more at http://www.abolitioninternational.org
