1. Ben Stiller's Appeal for Japan

    from Heath Cozens Added

A year has passed since Northern Japan was struck by tsunami. In places, waves reached 130 feet, or 40 meters, in height. The scale of the damage was colossal. But, within just 3 days, the international media had moved on: Fukushima's nuclear crisis became the story du jour, and the devastation of Northern Japan was largely forgotten. Now, reconstruction efforts remain stymied, and hundreds of thousands of refugees remain displaced - many who may never be able to return home. The people of Northern Japan have been suffering in silence - please help us raise awareness by hitting 'like', and sharing this video. And to donate, please visit tderf.org or give2asia.org/TDERF . Thank you.

In November of 2010 photogenX partnered with an initiative called Pure Hope Pakistan. We want to see 100,000 water filters distributed to families in need from the massive flooding that happened in Pakistan just a few months ago. Water is still standing, communities are still left in ruins, people are in need and we need to help them! Please show your support by either buying a water filter or passing the video along to your friends and colleagues. For more information visit us at: www.purehopepakistan.com or photogenX.net

“If you think these refugees need just food and clothes and medicine, you are looking at them like animals. But human beings are different.” - Muzaffer Baca, International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation Around the globe the eyes of all people are on Syria, watching who is fighting who, focusing on what may come tomorrow. All that viewers see are fighters, and victims who have lost their lives - but there are far more victims than that. This video was in connection with project to build a solar powered pump in The Gambia. It was made possible by The Rotary Club of Bar Harbor, ME and College of the Atlantic. This video attempts to make clear both the problems and benefits to aid work in West Africa. There are many organizations with missions to help people, but often the solutions they come up with don't always help solve a problem. Made by Benjamin Nimkin

This song was written the day after the most devastating flooding in Nashville's history. So many have lost everything they own. Help me make a difference in the lives of those who are so overwhelmed. This past week I teamed up with a local organization to help begin what will be a lengthy road to recovery. All proceeds from this track in the month of May will be donated to aiding those in direct need. You may donate one dollar or more and receive this track, please spread the word about this song and it's video as I believe it offers a bit of comfort to us all as we heal from this tragedy. Thank you, Cory Basil visit "coryBasil.bandcamp.com" to donate one dollar or more and receive this song.
