We had a ball working with the talented band Le VICE on creating a visual story for their song "Jamir's Bed Part 1" off their new album "The Payoff" that just dropped December 3rd on itunes. Even though their album is categorized as hip-hop/rap music, its hard to put their music into one genre because they are a fusion of "Urban-Indie-Rock-Electro-Funk-Pop-and Hip Hop!" Le VICE's band members include: Alex Lee ( Vocals), Sean Stillinger (bass/keys), Renzo Staiano (guitar) and Dame the Drummer (drums). A few months ago, we put together an amazing video production team to execute our first music video with the band. CHECK IT OUT! We also want to give a special shout out to all the folks that made Part 1 possible: Part 1 Crew: Director/Producer – Tiffany Shanel ( TR Proz) AD/AC/ Producer – Rene Caraballo (TR Proz) Executive Producer – Seaside Stretch Editor- Tiffany Shanel (TR Proz) Singer/Lead Actress – Alex Lee Jamir- Estor Lopez Jr. MUA/Stylist/Boudoir Choreography – Kelli Love Hair Stylist - Juanita Taylor Production Assistant/ Driver- Damien Cole Nirvana Poster/Bass/Keys-Sean Stillinger The Shining Poster/Guitar/keys-Renzo Antonio Staiano Michael Jackson Poster /Drummer-Dame the Drummer Clothing provided by Stephanie Madrinan (31 RAX) www.31rax.com Food Provided by Maru’s Kitchen www.maruskitchen.com ROOM 389 room389oakland.com Mike Munson (KTOP TV 10) THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!

About the Big Screen Symposium The Big Screen Symposium is the event that puts the filmmakers of Aotearoa New Zealand in one venue for the purpose of debate, discussion, information and inspiration. In 2013 the Symposium will take place on 10th/11th August at the University of Auckland Business School. In 2012 over 300 attendees were immersed in two intensive days of conversations, workshops, panel discussions and case studies with a stellar lineup of local and international filmmaker speakers. The 2012 programme was built around the theme ‘EXPLORING THE NEW WAY FORWARD’ and the line-up included US indie producer Ted Hope, Sundance-winning writer/director Ben Lewin, longstanding and Palme d'Or nominated Australian director Gillian Armstrong, master cinematographer Alun Bollinger, Mexican writer/director Dana Rotberg and legendary actor Sam Neill. Now it is time to build on the success and the synergies of 2012. This year it will be even better... The Big Screen Symposium is designed for all those who bring our stories to the big screen: from directors, writers and producers to musicians, actors and technicians to business people, distributors and film students. It presents a big picture of the world of cinema, a great networking opportunity, and a wealth of insights and nuts and bolts information on the pertinent issues facing filmmakers today. The Big Screen Symposium is brought to you by Script to Screen and J&A Productions. The programme is being crafted in consultation with film production teaching staff in the Film, Television and Media Studies Department at the University of Auckland. http://bigscreensymposium.com/ About Script to Screen Script to Screen is a charitable trust whose mandate is to develop the craft and culture of storytelling for the screen in Aotearoa New Zealand. Since Script to Screen’s inception in 2006, our annual programme of events and initiatives for filmmakers remains unparalleled in terms of quality, reach, participation and output. Our nationwide programme, from grass roots to high-end, serves emerging and experienced writers, directors and producers. The Big Screen Symposium is a vital addition to this programme.
