    Auchan "Selfscan Report": The first sustainability report that fits on a till receipt With its "Selfscan Report", which was developed by Serviceplan, Auchan is demonstrating just how sustainable a sustainability report can be. "Auchan – the responsible discounter" is noted for its long-term commitment to offer its customers solutions that provide affordable sustainability and a better quality of life at everyday low prices. The sustainability report has now been reformatted to reflect this claim: the medium accessible to everyone from one of the largest supermarket chains in Europe is the till receipt. This has a barcode on it that when scanned presents customers, business partners and journalists with an app containing the sustainability report. The result: a 99 percent saving in paper. The “Selfscan Report” was awarded the “Grand Prix” in the “Design” category and a silver Lion at the 60th “International Festival of Creativity” in Cannes. --- Der erste Nachhaltigkeitsbericht, der auf einen Kassenbon passt Wie ein Nachhaltigkeitsbericht wirklich nachhaltig sein kann, beweist Auchan mit dem "Selfscan Report", der von Serviceplan entwickelt wurde. "Auchan – der verantwortungsbewusste Discounter" steht für langfristiges Engagement, Kunden Lösungen für eine erschwinglichere Nachhaltigkeit und für mehr Lebensqualität bei geringeren Preisen im Alltag anzubieten. Konsequent wurde nun auch der Nachhaltigkeitsbericht entsprechend umgesetzt: Das Medium, das bei einer der größten Supermarktketten Europas in allen Händen ist, ist der Kassenbon. Dieser wurde mit einem Barcode versehen, der Kunden, Geschäftspartner und Journalisten beim Scannen des Codes direkt zur App führt, die den Nachhaltigkeitsbericht beinhaltet. So werden pro Bericht 99 Prozent Papier gespart. Der "Selfscan Report" wurde beim 60. "International Festival of Creativity" in Cannes mit dem "Grand Prix" in der Kategorie "Design" sowie mit einem silbernen Löwen ausgezeichnet.

              Using the box that makes up the Home Retail Group logo, we created a ‘video’ wall made up of 2,128 individual cardboard boxes, each forming a ‘pixel’ of the screen. Using different colours and textures on the four sides of the box, each box was manually changed by hand to collectively form a word, image or graphic. The entire series was then photographed in Homebase’s warehouse in Oxford over 3 days and nights. Two cameras were used to record the event, each taking a shot every 30 seconds or so creating a bank of over 10,000 individual images.
