    from Ecologic Institute Added

You may have read in the press about medicines, like antibiotics and the pill, being found in rivers and lakes, and even in drinking water. Is this true? How do drugs get there, and do they have effects? Is there anything being done to address this? Can I do anything to help? The animation gives answers to these questions and explains the processes involved. It was conceived for a general educated public with no prior knowledge of the issue, and was funded by the EU within the research project PHARMAS (http://www.ecologic.eu/4276). A tale on water and our aquatic origin - in two parts This is the first result coming out of my investigation around water, liquid systems and the human body's aquatic core. This video is the collage of three elements of an installation presented at Kingstreet Gallery Cambridge - 2 video projections accompanied by a soundscape of people's voices telling us about their stories with water, what water means to them... and about what connects them to others. Cambridge Sustainability Residency: www.beyond7000.com, April 2013 Special Thanx to Marina Velez, Sergio Fava & Russell Cuthbert who organized and have this residency possible, as well as to Anglia Ruskin University and the Global Sustainability Institute.
