Just outside Xian, China (Shaanxi Province) is one of the world's most amazing archeological discoveries: thousands of buried life-sized sculptures of warriors, soldiers, nobles and horses. The tomb was sealed and then forgotten...and re-discovered accidentally by a farmer in 1974. We met the farmer himself, very charming...and got a certified copy of a soldier (small size) made with the same ancient clay.
