An historical computer-dance work, one of the video-clip language precursors. The image close-ups shows only body parts, and the hole body image is composed only in the spectator's mind, and just seen as computer drawings. In this way, the movement is the addition of body details accomplished by the spectator perception, never at the video image. This work is a study of visual movement intelligibility and a portrait of our fragmented corporal image, consequence of our urban life stress. Made in São Paulo, Brazil, 1974.

Since 2012, Jon Goldman embarked on a project to digitally paint portraits of the inhabitants from his home village Woods Hole, Massachusetts. To date, Jon has captured just over 100 of its colorful inhabitants with his digital paintbrush. “My latest work is a creative process that embraces a new public art,” says the artist. Abundance is a temporary public installation commissioned for the City of San Jose, California by ZER01 – the Art and Technology Network. At night, Abundance transforms the city hall plaza into an interactive social space. A video camera mounted on the City Hall captures the movements of people in the plaza below. Utterback's software creates a dynamic animation generated in response to this movement, which is projected onto the 3-story cylindrical rotunda. for more info, please visit: www.camilleutterback.com

Please watch with stereo audio and full screen! The sound recording is slightly binaural so you will get a better impression of the focused sound if you listen with headphones. This artwork uses is a highly directional beam of sound almost like a laser. The work does not use a normal speaker but rather it is made of many small ultrasound speakers that cause some funky physics stuff and creates sound out of thin air. The work can only be heard when it is either pointing directly at you or reflecting of a wall. In more detail below-- This artwork incorporates a parametric array mounted on a gimbal for human tracking. The work also serves as a performance device to track aspects of my own body to compose music. The Robot Sound Lens Sculpture is one of 3 new works I am developing for exhibitions and performances in 2012. The work uses the Kinect camera to track members of an audience through space projecting various memory soundscapes also based on movement. This artwork expands on research into parametric arrays done 2001 while artist in residence at the Defence Science and Technology Organization in South Australia. My sound lens artworks series began in 1996 evolving from previous sculptures using optics. The lens in its most simple form is a representation of a point of view while at the same time it is a real device used in physics to peer into the extents of the known Universe and also within the human body. We all form types of lenses by the way in which we develop our perception of the world. http://www.adamdonovan.net/ additional work in progress http://adamdonovan.net/Adam%20Donovan%20soundlazer.html Interview with Adam Donovan - scientific-serendipity http://filter.org.au/in-other-words/scientific-serendipity/adam-donovan-interview/

The interpreter explores only the video rectangular space borders. Without image cuts and the sound regulates the spectator's breathing cycle providing a sensation of calm. The scenary was created by the plastic artist Takashi Fukushima.

Motor are hidden into soft sphere. These spheres are group and suspended to form an Aire d’apaisement. Each one of the Aire d’apaisement has its own rythm. An electrical sequence which open and close the mecanical hidden parts and make the sphere’s bag shaking, moving up and down in a calm way. The Aire d’apaisement are suspended so the spectator can move under them and around them.
