In 2010 I invited seven conceptual artists to the private dining room of an upscale restaurant to discuss concepts for making a time capsule with my $2,000 commission from the San Francisco Arts Commission. Our lively conversation about art, artist’s rights, time and time capsules took place over a three-hour meal. After paying the bill we only had $56 left for the time capsule. We took it to the track. The conversation was turned into a 60-page script (the time capsule), which was performed by actors under the title Circular Time. In collaboration with...Amy Balkin, Tony Discenza, Aaron Gach, Jonn Herschend, Liz Rossof, Steve Shada, and Stephanie Syjuco.
