The installation consists of 2 parts. The first part is a light box with a gold coin as a press button. The coin was minted in 1996 with Queen Elizabeth II and St. George killing the dragon on both sides. As a button, only the St. George (Saint of England) with the year will be seen. The light box shows an image (collected in the Manchester Libraries) of the interior of Free Trade Hall in Manchester (photographed in 1925, before the destruction of this interior by the Nazi bombing in 1940) and a translucent engraving of "No politics Today!"(in Edwardian script) is made on the surface of the plexiglas on top. The text will become invisible when the light box is on with the button pressed. The front page of the Hong Kong Standard on June 16, 1996 was reproduced as aluminum engraving and is displayed next to the light box. It shows the news of the IRA bombing and famous jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald who died on the same day are side by side. In the other side of the gallery (out of the sight of the first part), a column of the ceiling height of old newspaper, with a cable penetrating through and supported by an installation of pull-release motor system. When standing, it looks only as a paper column with minimal information. When the gold coin is pressed on the other side of gallery, the system is triggered without the knowledge of the audience and the column will fall. Then the system will slowly pull back the column to its original position while Love For Sale by Ella Fitzgerald starts to play till the recovering action stops.
