Over this past summer I watched a little bit of documentaries on Netflix, but two of them caught my eye especially. The films "Beware of Christians" & "One Nation Under God" were really, really cool with it's core purposes on living out the Bible & what people believe about the Bible. With my love for movies, music & imagination, these films were very inspiring that I wanted to create one myself. God was totally at work throughout the whole project, so the gifts He gave me & coming across the Netflix films & getting these ideas right before the school year started didn't happen by chance. Within the first few nights of school, I started to write down my ideas of what look, sound & persona the film would have. I then talked with my teacher about what the film would be about, eventually agreeing the film would be about science & faith's relationship. After researching articles, interviewing two pastors, collecting photos & recording my voice, here it is! This film isn't all about the highs AND lows of science & faith's relationship, but it's mainly about how the two actually go together. All the praise & glory & honor goes to God, who let this project work & let this go farther than I could have ever expected! The World of Worldviews, Part 1 - John Stonestreet Ideas have “families”. They derive and connect with other ideas and work to influence other worldviews. Five of our worldviews hold that our ultimate reality is knowable (while they disagree on what that ultimate reality is). Secular Humanism and Marxism say that ultimate reality is knowable and only physical. Therefore there is no existence after or beyond this world and it is only the physical here and now that matters. Cosmic Humanism says the opposite: Ultimate reality is knowable, but it is spiritual. Therefore, physicality is merely an illusion. Christianity and Islam are both Theistic worldviews. In other words, ultimate reality is knowable because it is made by God and God created the world, both physical and spiritual. With these starting points, if we consider the question, “What does it mean to be human?” from a Secular Humanist or Marxist perspective, a human is merely a body. Whereas, according to a Cosmic Humanist, humans are merely spiritual beings. And, Christians and Muslims believe that humans are made both physically and spiritually. These foundations will determine other principles such as psychology, sociology, etc. Now, post-modernism sits alone simply because it assumes that you cannot know reality. All worldviews begin with assumptions regarding philosophy and theology. This week, we focus on what is known as Naturalism (Secular Humanism & Marxism). According to these worldviews, the ultimate reality is what is natural – what we can see, hear, feel, taste and smell - but not the spirit. As the old addage goes, “To a hammer, everything looks like a nail.” Therefore, to a Naturalist, everything appears to be only natural and explained by the laws of physics. This looses its logical foundation when we start to consider such things as personal relationships and odds-defying historical events. What lifestyles do a Naturalistic worldview promote? - Atheism (there is no God) - Agnosticism (there is no knowledge of God) - Neo-Darwinism (All biological creatures stem from the same single organism, therefore a higher origin and purpose do not exist) - Reductionism (reducing everything – including humans – to less than what they actually are) - Scientism (all problems and answers are scientific)

This video heads the vimeo 'Genesis, with Exegesis' Channel: http://vimeo.com/channels/genesisexeg . Same playlist is also in Youtube, same name. (The bliptv copy, is now gone.) Gist: Bible is mistranslated in Genesis 1:2, so Christians don't properly interpret Genesis. That, due to Christians using Bishop Ussher's timeline instead of Bible, to date creation. Bible disagrees with BOTH the creationists and evolutionists -- how embarrassing for us Christians. Bible plainly says the Earth was RESTORED in six LITERAL days, not initially created over that period; 'day' here is EXPLICITLY 24 hours (Hebrew idiom of evening THEN morning can only be literal, as the Hebrew day began at SUNSET) -- not some hallucinated longer period by moderns who have no faith in Bible. Pity we Christians hate God so much we won't even READ what He says. Secondly, it demonstrates God's Rules for Constructing Time, a doctrine unknown in Christendom which USED to be known in Judaism; the doctrine begins with the begats in Genesis 5. Episode 8 covers that doctrine. For those of you who saw this series in bliptv, they disabled the players; you can now only view the series via Youtube players or directly here in vimeo. So my chatty insistence (beginning at 2:55) that you look at the Youtube or blip video description's 'download links', are now outdated. 3-page Word.doc summarizing video series content: http://www.brainout.net/TimeTravelinGenesisVidSummary.doc Off-Youtube, view and original videos: http://www.brainout.net/SatStrat2.htm#GenesisVids .
