              • "Jenny" film excerpts

                from Dorian Walker / Added

These are two excerpts of a one hour educational documentary that I'm currently making that follows the story and impact of one of America's most influential aircraft ever made, the Curtiss Jenny. In it's short, but pivotal to aviation history life, the Jenny became the first mass produced assembly line aircraft, the Army trainer that 95% of N. American military pilots learned to fly in, the first regular scheduled U.S. Air Mail carrier, and the most popular early Barnstorming aircraft. This film has been a true labor of love, allowing the story of early flight to unfold as a metaphor of the dreams and aspirations of so many. Traveling the back roads of America, my wife and I filmed from rural Pennsylvania to wind swept Texas. 3 of the 6 currently flying Jenny's in the world are featured as well as a cast of experts who share their views and knowledge of the Jenny. For me personally, this film has allowed me to re-examine my own interest in flying and flying's influence on my own family.

                    from Andy Lambert / Added

In 2004 I was involved in moving the Brooklands Museum Concorde from Filton to Weybridge, when i got the chance I pointed the camera and grabbed a few highlights, but sadly only in VHS. Many of my friends in the world of vehicle Recovery loaned kit, or assisted in picking up loads and without their help this project would have cost much more that it did. I have also added a few stills taken by Cliff Knox, Julian Temple and Myself, to give you a better understanding of how much harder the task became when we lost G-BOAA. Please bear that in mind when you visit Brooklands and Marvel at the job Gordon and his team have done in rebuilding Concorde G-BBDG (Delta Gulf)
