A video I've made of my life in the backcountry of my home province of British Columbia. Please click the HD button to watch it properly Thanks to my sponsors for the support over the past few years: www.dynastar.com www.mountainhardwear.ca www.smithoptics.ca www.revelstokemountainresort.com / www.selkirk-tangiers.com And a huge thanks to Dan Croll for coming up with this fitting song called "From Nowhere" I read that he came up with this song in the winter month of January. With all the Go Pro footage I used, the lyrics "every time I look into your eyes" just seemed fitting. If you like the tune please visit: http://www.dancroll.com/Dan_Croll/HOME.html The time lapses were made using my Canon 7d, an intervalometer and some pro lenses - Not my GoPro which some people might think. Thanks to all who watch, like and leave comments. You are the stoke in my fire.

                  06:49

                  from Zach Ornitz Added 16.9K 79 8

Tuckerman Ravine, located on the eastern slope of New Hampshireʼs Mt. Washington, is considered by many to be the epicenter of the New England skiing tradition. For nearly 100 years, people have made their annual pilgrimage to this backcountry skiing destination. Jeff Leich, Executive Director of the New England Ski Museum offers some historical insight: “The first party on skis that thereʼs any record of in Tuckerman Ravine was a Dartmouth Outing Club group in 1913. In the 1930s, ski racing found a home on the mountain and in 1937 the first Giant Slalom in the United States was held in the ravine." What makes Tuckermanʼs Ravine and skiing in the area so special? Why has it remained a rite of passage for so many generations of skiers and backcountry enthusiasts? My premise is that beyond spectacle of the weekend party scene, it is the tradition and link to skiing history that adds to the allure of “Tuckʼs.”

Freeriders Fabian Lentsch, Alexander Kristensen, Erling Magnus Solheim and Sigurd Løvfall spent Easter in the Norwegian mountains. The cabin Olavsbu is located in the middle of Jotunheimen national park and is open to the public. The area is home to some of Norway’s most spectacular and untouched mountains. The only competitors for the first track are lost cross-country skiers on their way to the next cabin. The weather gods were by our side and showed us Norway at its finest. Check out www.alexanderkristensen.com www.fabianlentsch.com www.telemarkism.blogspot.com/ for more skiing. Music: Mt. Eden - Still Alive
