Pardee Professor of Economics and Professor of Political Science, UC Berkeley, delivers a keynote address at the Internationalization of the Renminbi Conference, Friday June 8. The keynote topic was "Internationalization of the Renminbi: Politics as well as Economics." Peter COWHEY, Dean of the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, moderated the talk. The June 7-8, 2012 "Internationalization of the Renminbi" conference brought together leading policy experts and economists from China, Hong Kong, Asia, and the U.S. to analyze the logic, dynamics, and the domestic and international ramifications of the internationalization of the Renminbi, or RMB.
