The Bozeman Montana Sport Climbing Movie will be one of the few films to showcase the classic sport climbing in the Bozeman area. While Montana offers a high concentration of quality sport and traditional rock climbing, this area has been under the radar from climbing media and film for years. The objective of this movie is simple: to spread the word about Montana climbing to the community in hopes of encouraging outdoor activity, and to continue the conservation and development of these climbing areas. As Cruxin Production’s first full-length feature, the movie focuses on the beauty of Montana and compositional movement over rock, rather than first ascents and difficult grades. Climbing areas featured in the film are: Gallatin Canyon, Natural Bridge, Chestnut Mountain, Allenspur, and Bear Canyon. Local climbers featured in film are: Brandon Smith, Kyle Vassilopoulos, Kevin Macartney, Jarred Pickens, Ryan Anderson, and many more. Bear Canyon is a great hiking trail that is accessible year round just outside of Bozeman, MT. A variety of recreational sports can be done here- trail running, mountain biking, shooting fire arms and hunting, cross country skiing, horseback riding, and even dirt biking. This is aerial multicopter footage using a DJI Phantom with GPS assisted ZenMuse H3-2D Gimbal. www.SaulCreative.com ::: 406.580.7258

This is a project up Bear Canyon. Bottom half goes at about V9. Top half goes about V7 with a V3 top out. About 25/6 total moves. Pretty scary but safe with many pads and a few spotters. We've done both sections separately. We just need to link it. We're pretty close to sending so more footage should soon follow.

On Sunday Jan 27, 2013 me and a few friends (Dom, Colin, Josh, David) decided to venture up to the summit of Mt. Baldy (aka Mt. San Antonio) which is situated at 10,064 ft. We took the Bear Canyon route starting from around 4,300 ft. It's a tough but scenic climb and we had a blast doing it. PS - the dogs you see towards the end we found at the summit and ended up running down with us back down with us. We thought they were wolves initially. MUSIC - M83
