our interactive led installation was created for the vj festival erlangen in 2010. we collected some broken televisions and fixed them up with leds. the leds are driven by a dmx board built by elektropastete and controlled by custom software also developed by elektropastete. Infrared light sources and a webcam are used for capturing the movement of people walking by, courtesy of another piece of elektopastete-developed software. The data is then translated to generate different color effects on the television screens. Live Vjing was possible via OSC controlled iPod touch whilst interacting with drunken strangers.

Interactive theatrical environment based on Sławomir Mrożek's short story "The One Who Falls Down" co-created with Teatr Łaźnia Nowa team ( Małgorzata Szydłowska, Dawid Kozłowski, Bartłomiej Krcha ) during Mrożek Festival. Environment consists of two parts: ◥ "Walking with Mrożek" - an corridor with interactive projection of animated characters based on original Mrożek's drawings. Each character displayed on the wall follows one person passing trough the corridor thanks to the computer vision algorithms and a webcam (ps3eye) situated above the passage. We've used openframeworks and openCV for blob tracking and animation display. ◥ "Talking furniture" - disassembled pir sensors, stereo speakers and mp3 players hacked together and hidden in several pieces of furniture. Audio is turned on when somebody falls in range of pir sensor and turned off in case of absence of living matter ;) Most of the work on the panGenerator side was done by Piotr Barszczewski and Krzysztof Goliński with a bit of on-site support by Jakub Koźniewski. Special thaks to Wojtek Morawski / Wo for music used in this video and Maciek Dobrowolski for intro sfx. Further kudos go to Barbara Dzierań and Katarzyna Grzeszczak.

Tentacles attempt to attach themselves to the user, based on live video, in this case, pre-recorded video. The tentacles movement is audio reactive, each tentacle is assigned a certain range in audio, the more audio, the more outward force is thrust upon them. Audio by Funkagenda.

Experiment with blob tracking and generating polygonal objects gone wrong. But still kind of interesting.Created in Processing. If anyone can help me to figure out how to make the blob/mesh consistent, msg me! This is a interactive installation that tracks ping pong ball locations during a match. We used a kinect with openCV for blob tracking. You can learn more about the tech here: http://blogs.claritycon.com/design/2012/11/blob-tracking-wpf-kinect-opencv/
