      from Radio Soulwax Added 205K 1,133 31

Radio Soulwax presents UNDER THE COVERS VOL. 3: Download the RADIO SOULWAX app for iphone / ipad / android or watch online at http://www.radiosoulwax.com The third leg in a trilogy of hours that contain animations we made for our Under The Covers live DJ show, this one is decidedly more danceable. It mainly consists of recent releases and has a few exclusive unreleased tracks in there, with some classics thrown in for good measure. We start out with Saam Farahmand's amazing trailer for RSWX called "Machine" which was a joy to play in front of big audiences if only to see people's reactions on their faces, and continue onwards with what is possibly the most party-friendly show on RSWX yet. This mix contains quite a few Belgian tracks, and only one animation that was made for a specific market, see if you can guess which one it is. Concept: Soulwax and Fergadelic Editor: Kurt Augustyns Executive Producer: Glyn Peppiatt Animation: Michael Zauner, Laurie Hill, Lewis Kyle White, Bill Porter, Nuno Costa, Daniel Brereton, Glyn Peppiatt, Olga Makarchuk, Reza Dolatabladi Includes "Machine" Directed by Saam Farahmand

Don't forget to join the PhotoGuides Vimeo Channel for all the latest tutorials http://vimeo.com/channels/photoguides In photography, bokeh is one of the most incredible implementations of Aperture. The shallow depth of field causes any light in the background to blur into a floating orb. In this tutorial, we go through how to create bokeh using Photoshop, with incredible results. You can also have a look at http://www.photoguides.net/photoshopping-digital-bokeh for the original guide, as well as the Photoshop source files and a high quality download of this tutorial. His sight gets attracted by the sounds that surround him. He will have to explore a blurry world of unknown places and strange characters." “Astigmatismo” is a short-film about the feeling of being lost. This feeling is created thanks to an extreme blur effect, leaving only a very tiny space in focus. The focus shifts and moves rhythmically, synchronized with the sounds and the music, revealing a constantly changing landscape. The optical effect of blur is at the core of the film, so to make this effect as beautiful and authentic as possible "Astigmatismo" is shot in a 5-level multiplane using a special lens. The animation involves cut-out marionettes and paint on glass. Everything is entirely made by hand and there are no post production effects. It is, however, computer-assisted. The camera and the lens were entirely controlled by computer making it possible to adjust the focus and the depth of field with extreme precision, allowing for a variety of focus effects that wouldn't have been possible to create otherwise. In this way, the film combines old school animation techniques with recent advances in camera technology.
