In spite of tremendous heat 30C, 21554 runners finished this oldest street marathon. I admire the perfect organization, special thanks to all people on the route with water hoses and also special thanks to Boston Police and to all. This was true beautiful experience. Here are some highlights from the marathon route. Jerzyk from 9.Dywersyjna managed to finish the marathon even with the foot injury and against the weather. The winning time was slow 2:12 but in this weather conditions this is big success. Pennington Productions Presents: STRANGLEHOLD the Series- Case Closed http://strangleholdthemovie.com/series.html Shot, edited, animated, directed by Myles David Jewell After a year long web series that is a footnote to the 80 minute documentary, may the case of the Boston Strangler finally be closed. STRANGLEHOLD "the Series" is a footnote to the feature documentary, STRANGLEHOLD: In the Shadow of the Boston Strangler. The web series will be released on a monthly basis starting in 2013. Follow us on all social media outlets. https://www.facebook.com/StrangleholdtheSeries?ref=hl ABOUT: In an investigation, every bit of information makes it into a case file, unlike in storytelling, were select story lines are followed and others left on the cutting room floor. As a result, this web-based series is an attempt to self-produce and self-publish as much of the investigation of Phil DiNatale and his involvement as a lead investigator on the case of the Boston Strangler. Through the form of short videos, and in the vein of an investigation, this series is our families effort to get Detective DiNatale's story into the public sphere. Entirely self-produced and self-distributed, our aim is to tell Phil's side of the investigation as it should be told, in full, while using cold hard documentation. About the documentary: STRANGLEHOLD- In the Shadow of the Boston Strangler TRT 80 min Release date September 24, 2012 @ the Boston Film Festival Winner Best Editing @ BFF 2012 Synopsis: In the 1960's, filmmaker Myles Jewell's grandfather, Phil DiNatale, worked relentlessly as an investigator on the case of the Boston Strangler. But despite Phil's meticulous investigative efforts, the case got caught in Boston's political cross hairs and was never officially solved. Now, fifty years later, Myles plunges headfirst into his grandfather's immense homemade detective archive to reveal never-before-seen details about the strangler investigation. Part historical film, part personal documentary, and part whodunit, Stranglehold tells the story of a beat cop turned famed detective, Phil DiNatale, and the long-lasting effect his investigative legacy had on his family for generations. www.penningtonproductions.com www.penningtonproductions.com/features

Pennington Productions Presents: STRANGLEHOLD the Series- "Episode 002" http://strangleholdthemovie.com/series.html Shot, edited, animated, directed by Myles David Jewell In Episode 002, the audience begins to learn the origins of the DiNatale detective legacy. Charting the DiNatale family back to Salvatore DiNatale's immigration from Italy to the USA in 1897, and Sal's acceptance to the Boston Police Force in 1919, the family quickly became focused on being civil servants. With five out of the six brothers joining the Police force after WWII, it's easy to see how Phil DiNatale got his start as an investigator. Pennington Productions Presents: STRANGLEHOLD the Series- "An Ode to Boston." The day after the Boston Marathon explosions, we wanted to release some imagery of our beloved city to help heal wounds that will never be forgotten. Boston is a beautiful town that has run a great marathon for a long time, and the event has now been tarnished with a senseless act. http://strangleholdthemovie.com/series.html Shot, edited, directed by Myles David Jewell music by The Rolling Stones "Salt of the Earth" (from Beggars Banquet) In this episode, "An Ode to Boston," Stranglehold the Series attempts to create a short video memorializing the wonderful history of Boston, instead of releasing more imagery of a traumatic past.
