This method is helpful for beginners to solve sudoku puzzles, becaus it goes step-by-step in such a way that you avoid repeating numbers in a row. (if you find a row with a number repeated you know you have made a mistake.) Also I help you develop a habit of always looking for the possiblily of a new number being solved once you have solved another new number. I call this RAM which is short for "ramification" A general rule is to always fill a number in if you know that cell is the ONLY place that number can go https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd8JaOdfEWcJOtwG6YayW0w
