Fail better. — Samuel Beckett 3 synchronised cameras record from a different perspective the same action. From above a sheet gold foil floats into the camera´s angle of vision. I try to keep it hovering in the air with my breath as for as long as possible. If it touches the ground or my body “the game is over” and a new one begins. Attraction and the force of gravity, dynamics and rhythm, action and reaction: I determine the flight of the sheet, the sheet determines the movements of my body. The space appears surreal, sky and earth, above and down blurs. The impression of weightlessness arises - to be broken over immediately thereafter. My breath and the friction of my body on the ground form the sounds of the piece.
