    On our pilgrimage to the sacred Buddhist sites in India February 2015, we're sitting in the Jetavana Monastery under a huge Bodhi tree, just a few metres from the Buddha's Gandhakuti, where he spent 25 rains retreats. Ajahn Dhammasiha relates the story how Anathapindika first meets the Buddha, invites him to his hometown Savatthi, and ultimately buys the Jetavana by covering the grounds with gold.
