http://www.onepointfour.co/2013/09/18/mad-cows/ Produced by Stink, the film wants to show the "bovinized" behavior of humanity, with people acting on default mode, following the same trends and rituals, which causes them to lose their individuality and originality. A time lapse I recorded in december 2011. I recorded most of the base mesh modeling and base color painting. Some important parts like sculpting or texturing were lost and others were not recorded. I had to cut some useless part such as minor tweaks and errors to make this less boring. Enjoy! YES, my cursor is a pizza. NO, he doesn't fit in those cars, that may be the reason he is that mad. Software: Autodesk Maya | Autodesk Mudbox | mental ray | Photoshop Carlos Ortega

                  37:38

from La Playa de Madrid / Added

Fernando Epelde http://fernandoepelde.wordpress.com/ www.laplayademadrid.es A remake is like irony. Thinking twice. I think I have always been interested in them because I'm from Galicia... Irony is the atoms that conform my language. Cinema is so young that remakes are still in a break-in period. The evolution of this kind of movies depends on the distance from the original material. Just as it happens with building or fine art restoration, in this kind of operations there are hypes, obsessions, needs... We considered different options when restoring this porn cult movie from the 80's, and in the end we opted for the simplest one, the way the original authors would. Our intention was to make a musical, a porn rock-opera. Forty minutes to be enjoyed on full blast. It was most important not to miss the spirit, making the conflict more contemporary with the necessary touch of nostalgia. We think that the result is quite an old-fashioned homage to porn movies from the 80's... The plot takes place near the closing down of the café. In the end, crisis hits even the most distopic joints. In the 30th aniversary of the movie we would love that you feel like if you were at Café Flesh itself, or in the verge of jerking off at the Star Wars cantina or at a gig by the band Bowie left stranded at Ziggy Stardust's planet. Wellcome to the black box of Café Flesh. Wellcome to blindness and hair on the palm of your hands. Fernando Epelde http://fernandoepelde.wordpress.com/ www.laplayademadrid.es
