The Kimberley is one of the most ecologically diverse areas of the world. Its marine ecosystems are amongst the world's most pristine. At 424500 square kilometers the Kimberley is bigger than Italy or Germany and it has over 3000 uninhabited islands. This documentary takes you on a expedition into this remote region with a team of scientists and an artist. What they find redefines their values and how they view the natural world. It showcases one of the last great wilderness areas through incredible wildlife- great and small.

This is a thank you to all those 14,000 people who helped sign a petition to ensure Camden Sound Marine Park (7,062 square kilometres) received a high level of marine protection - including the largest marine sanctuary in WA's waters - Montgomery reef (1400 hectares). It's not a perfect plan still allowing mining exploration and trawling in the general use zones- but it was a vast improvement from the plans.
