Through yoga, Danielle Orner shows us that her inspirational capabilities are more than people would normally believe a person with her cancer diagnosis and resulting surgeries could accomplish. Danielle is a politician for self-confidence, positive body image, and perseverance. For more information see Danielle's website at http://www.danielleorner.com/blog/. Of course, you can always visit my blog at illuma.blogspot.com for more nitty-gritty technical information about the shoot. We shot this one of five prototype Panasonic GH4 cameras available in the US at the time. Most photography was done at 4k onto the internal SD card slot. One shot was done at HD resolution for over cranking to 96fps. All aerial footage was done on a Red Epic flown on an octo-copter. So, I filmed this on my phone, and somehow the audio got out of sync even on there. I think it's because I recorded to my old SD card, blah. Anyway I tried to fix it, sorry for the problems. In any event here's a video I shot with my mom talking about how she found out about her cancer, how they "cured" (well, staunched) it and what her treatments will consist of for the rest of her life. I wanted to make this video with her both because of my own chances of developing cancer, and because I want anyone else out there who just found out they have cancer or fear they might have it that it's not always, and in fact nowadays is rarely a death sentence, don't let Breaking Bad fool you, there ARE ways to beat it if you find out about it in time!
