On February 23, 2015 at approximately 7:07 pm the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a hit and run crash on Hwy 133 at W Pine Rd located in Muscoda Township. Immediately following the crash Ferguson fled the scene, traveling eastbound on Hwy 133 on only three tires. Moments later a Muscoda Officer located Ferguson’s vehicle near Hwy 133 and Sportsman’s Dr. Muscoda PD attempted to stop the vehicle. Though, only on three wheels, Ferguson would not stop and a pursuit ensued throughout the Village of Muscoda. At one point during the pursuit Ferguson turned around and rammed the Muscoda squad head on. Ferguson again fled and the pursuit continued. The pursuit ended at Hwy 133 and Sportsmans Dr as Ferguson attempted to ram the Muscoda squad again, this time in reverse. Ferguson missed the squad, however, and ended up putting his vehicle into the ditch. Ferguson then fled on foot. www.mwnews.net

        • Reporter Bob Simon interviewed by Joel Simon, Executive Director of the Committee to Protect Journalists

In 2010, The Americas Business Council sponsored the Courage Forum at The Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan. I was there to film parts of Our Tall Man: Manute Bol and the War of Visions. I filmed several other speakers including 60 Minutes Reporter, Bob Simon, being interviewed by Joel Simon, Executive Director of the Committee to Project Journalists. When Bob Simon died in a nightmare car accident last week, I recalled his thoughts about how the internet had diminished reporters' anonymity. It impacted me at the time because he confirmed the precautions I had taken while in Sudan. Solly Granatstein, a former 60 Minutes reporter, posted a description of Bob relating the same message to his coworkers. That inspired me to dig up the footage from the Courage Forum and watch it for the first time. I think it's a powerful interview, hopefully inspiring to all of us, and I'm glad to share it with you now.

Chau was in an auto accident. The person that hit him did not have insurance. As a result of the crash, he was injured and he incurred lost wages and medical bills. Luckily, he bought an under and uninsured motorist policy with Amerirprise insurance company. They did not pay. The claim was not resolved. Thus, a lawsuit was filed and it resolved nearly for the policy limits. All his bills were paid, wage loss was taken care of and there was enough extra to compensate him fairly.

On July 2, 2006, I almost died. Driving home from a wedding and after dropping off my date, I woke up 6.5 weeks later in a hospital. With absolutely no memory of that night, my family and doctors told me the miraculous story of what happened. Fast forward one year later, I found myself with the opportunity to share my story with the world. Share this video: http://youtu.be/OvsPI6uRQCo Subscribe to Paul C.
