invasive projection of mysterious entities. version 2 animations/video by pete hoge 2015 ... During my time as an active Catholic, I enjoyed silent contemplation of the atmosphere present within the worship space of my parish (Old St. Josephs/Philly). My imagination is somewhat fused with my reality, so sometimes I saw "things". If I was having a more acute psychotic episode, I might not be able to reel myself back in; even so, Christian spiritual life has resulted in experiences I cannot explain. It does not mean certain theological claims are "true", but that my mind is powerful in how it can "conjure" stuff. Now I have some tools to overlay/superimpose 3d animated forms on video, and I can make approximations of what I may or may not have seen in my "visions". I never actually saw anything like what I present in this video, but I did see "fast movers", shapes which I don't consider to be "out of the corner of my eye, brain playing tricks on me". I reserve judgement because I am "psycho-educated" about my mental health conditions. I know that some "imagineers" might get carried away, and start building an unfalsifiable narrative about experiences within a worship space like Old St.Josephs. 180 years of Catholic spirituality has soaked into it's physical forms -metaphorically speaking- and perhaps some of that thought residue has reflected back out of it's liminal stasis? That parish is not particularily creepy, not like St. Augustine's, right up the street. That is where some scenes from the "Sixth Sense" were filmed. I attended Mass there enough times that I could say "...this place bugs me out a little bit".
