The great people at The Children's Place allowed our students at Mat-Su Central to produce a professional video highlighting their work and honoring their founders with this story. We are grateful to have had this opportunity and have been entrusted with such an important project. The Children's Place is the Mat-Su Valley's child advocacy center, working to make traumatic abuse experiences for children as easy to talk about as possible. The work is hard and the cases are amazing. They have helped over 2700 children to date and see an average of 230 students every year. That works out to nearly 1 child per working day of the year. We thank them for their hard work with families and promoting healing and recovery for kids, who should never have to experience the things they do.
