This video is apart of an investigation into dreams. Color is as much a symbol as is the imagery in a dream. Color appears to represent the emotional conditions that stimulated a dream or dream image. As with any other symbol, color combines with the imagery to form a more complete "meaning" for the dream image. Shot using a Canon HF100. Music by M83 - I Guess Im Floating. Set in the 1980's a young boy makes a final plea to President Reagan, on behalf of his love interest, to stop the building of a tract home development that will replace their existing community pool. Shot 35mm anamorphic in 1999, Highpoint Pool was eventually completed in 2013 after being on hold for over a decade. After sitting in film storage for 13 years, the negative was pulled, scanned, edited and completed with generous help from friends, some additional ADR from our own kids (now the same age of the kids acting in the film) and a couple small personal loans. Written, Produced and Directed - Dayla Kennedy Produced and Edited - Colin Kennedy Director of Photography - Paul Stec+ More details

The Mill+ design and animation team created a charming short film for children’s eco-fashion brand The Fableists. The film tells the story of a young girl taken on a whimsical journey by the loose thread on her t-shirt in the quest to discover its origins. Written, directed and edited by Lea Amiel Director of photography Nicolas Libersalle In Africa, day after day, children play football endlessly everywhere, hoping to become the next Messi or Drogba... Last september, we were sent to Senegal in order to imagine a 2mn video that would show the passion of these kids for football and how it brings them so many things in so many levels, mostly joy in their everyday life. During three days we worked with young talented elite players to create we hope a poetic vision about youth, football and Africa. Hope you'll like it ;) // Subtitles available in french an english in the Vimeo player // Special thanks to the AS Dakar Sacré-Coeur and especially Mathieu Chupin, Benjamin Bonifas, Marc Chervaz, Hassane Fall, Gilles Emmanuel Diouf, Souwaibou, Youba and all the kids who helped us making this video.
