The MT State Library licenses databases with a lot of current research materials for use by health care providers and patients. This content can be differentiated from the collection of materials found in Consumer Health Complete by the more academic nature of the content. While it may be too academic for some it is a valuable resource for students studying nursing, applied health, and general medicine as well as pre-hospital emergency care providers or community-based health care providers. This session explores the content found in the CINAHL Nursing and Applied Health database, Health Source, and MedLine (MedLine is a free database, but it easily searched and linked to from within both EBSCOhost and the DiscoverIt! search tools). Please see the other classes in this course to learn more in-depth about the resources in the MT State Library online databases.
