Being the recipient of one too many parking tickets in Los Angeles, I decided to have some fun with DPT. This comedy short film was shot over a four hour period in Beverly Hills. All the quarter shots were created in After Effects using Element 3D and the short was cut in Premiere Pro CC. I used a MōVI M10 to stabilize my push in plates for the quarter shots. I also used a crazy vintage zoom lens provided by www.hotrodcameras.com for my snap zoom. I believe it was a 24-350mm. This was my first go around with the GH4 and for the most part, I was happy. It is a little noisier than I prefer but I do like many things about the camera. The GH4 was wonderful to use on the MōVI, as the combination was very light. I also enjoyed using the Panasonic iPhone app for controlling the camera when it was mounted on the Kessler Crane.
