We-build-Hamburg is a open collaboration platform for everyone who wants to improve the local city development. It encourage the citizens and the local government to participate and to get involved. It helps to bring ideas, people, government and all the other stakeholder like architects, politicians and property developer together to reduce costs, frustration and waste of time. We-build-hamburg is a responsive web based participation platform for an easy, fast and central access to the complex information of public or private planning projects with the help of new augmented reality and 3D features to make planes visible and sensible! How it works Step 1: Overview First of all, the user gets an overview of the running planning projects with the help of a map or a with a list of the relevant projects in a customized newsletter mail for example sorted by districts or cities. Step 2: Detailed information On a new site the user gets a whole bunch of detailed information. Like plans, figures, list of stakeholder, detailed maps of the buildingground, etc. For a better and easier access to this (sometimes very technical) information the user get the content with the help of 3D models or augemented reality tools. With the help of this 3D and augmented reality applications the plans are getting visibility for the user. Step 3: Get involed and improve your City The user can find others who are interested in this issue via social media plugins like Twitter or Facebook or with comments, links to organisations and other stakeholders. The user is going to be able to discuss and argue with other stakeholders, find alternatives or improve the already existing version of the plan, concept or building application. Step 4: Be more happier! In the end most of the integrated people are in many cases happier with the extended or improved version of the plan. The support of the local community grows for the new or edited project plan and the owner of the house or street builder.
