        • Should you have a Co-op/MDF program?

CMR delivers the very best in cost-effective channel management software. Here, we will go into a little about us, dive into some of the pain points of a manual co-op/MDF program, and how our automated solution will save you precious resources. CMR is headquarted in sunny San Diego. This year marks our 30 year anniversary delivering award winning channel management solutions to some of the biggest companies in the world, including Coca-Cola, Intel, and LG. We are also breaking into new markets with our new clients Yamaha and Allied Air. This year also marks the launch of the improved Partner Portal, a completely customizable platform for managing your Co-op/MDF and deal registration programs. It will also eventually house the rest of our solutions. Most of our reporting partners are in North America, but we also have reporting partners in 4 other continents, including South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. We have over 1,000 partners reporting on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Now that you have a little background on CMR, lets dive into some of the pain points of a manual Co-op/MDF solution. There are a lot of Co-op/MDF programs out there that are outdated and manually based. Many rely on passing excel spreadsheets back and forth for the approval of an event. This can be a very labor intensive process as there can be missing fields, different file formats, and wrong/misspelled data leading to increased overhead costs. A recent analysis on C-op/MDF spending revealed of the more than 1.7 billion dollars of Co-op/MDF funds available, more than $450 million of it gets left on the table. Some of the main reasons for this include expired funds and companies that were unaware that funds were available. The analysis also revealed an inefficient process for partners and vendors tracking the funds. This faulty process can result in funds not being utilized in the best interest of the vendor. CMR has been managing Co-op/MDF solutions for more than 30 years now and our improved platform, Partner Portal, automates the accrual, prior approval requests, claim requests, and payments processes. Now, let's dive into how these and other features work in Partner Portal. This is the dashboard you will see when logging in to Partner Portal. Here, you can see a summary of your data, including when people are requesting claims or prior approvals. This allows you to respond quickly, vastly improving your turn around. Partner Portal also allows you to completely customize your platform based on your business needs, a feature that was previously unavailable. You can customize your forms with our easy-to-use drag and drop technology. Another advantage of having your Co-op/MDF solution on partner portal is the ability to create new fields to edit and modify. This is a new feature of our Co-op/MDF solution. In the past, it would require a lot of time and money to change or add info on the form. Partner Portal also makes it easy to set up templates with your company's look and feel. You can add your logo and change the template colors to reflect your brand. It also features the ability to drag and drop areas you need. This is the summary page your partners will see when logging into Partner Portal and it is available 24/7. The partner summary page allows you to see submitted requests, funds available, and a summary of funds requested. With the click of a button, you can see your prior approvals as well as add pre-approvals. The reports let you know the request status (submitted, approved, denied). Once a prior approval is submitted, an audit trail begins. You also have the ability to search by activity types, activity name, or company. This screenshot shows a summary of your claim requests and lets you compare the requested amount versus the claim amount. For example, there may be a request for $5000 but it came in at only $4850. You'll know exactly how much was claimed. One of the main reasons funds get left on the table is the fact that partners are unaware of the expiration date. From the accruals page, partners have a clear view of when the funds expire. You can also see what accruals have been made available.
