The system is doing skeleton tracking on the arm and determining where the shoulder, elbow, and wrist is, using it to control the movement and posture of the giant funky bird! Speed project - made in a day using openFrameworks and libFreenect.         A simple Open Frameworks application using the MS Kinect depth sensing camera via libfreenect and ofxKinect. The computer searches for my manboobs and draws a bra or pasties on top. Music is played when titties are detected. I'm using OpenCV on the depth image. I look for a person-sized blob and use it's centroid to approximate a search box wherein to detect 2 boobs. The bra or pasties are drawn using the centroids of these boob blobs. A third blob detector is used to look for the hand to change between bras. The second half of the video shows a projection mapping of the bras/pasties onto my chest. This is all running in realtime and in low light conditions with a bad background.               While the visitor keeps their eyes shut, a moving platform guides a pen in their hand to draw a self-portrait, using computer vision to track their face and generate a line drawing. The result is a machine-aided drawing, a self-portrait you could never draw. Here we're testing an early version that moves about a half or third the speed of the more recent versions. The animals' movements and the proximity among them work as a parameter for mixing and spatializing the audience's music tracks in real time. This system constantly mashes-up two different songs recorded by different users. The two tracks are submitted to different modification processes, building a real time continuity between the swimming of the carp fish and the levels of distortion- which can vary from an intense reverberation to a simulation of hearing underwater. {filmed in Sao Paulo, Brazil} * This installation is quadraphonic.
