    • Sensor Crop Factor Comparison 5DM3 vs C300

We decided to set up this project so that we could actually see what the focal length crop factor actually looks like on a Full Frame Sensor camera like the Canon 5D Mark III and then compare it to that of a Super 35 Sensor, which has a crop factor of X1.6 like the Canon C300. We feel that this project will help us make better decisions and gear choices when planning our remote shoots. We learned a few lessons from this project specific to Exposure and Post Production which we plan on sharing in future videos.

              from João Atala / Added

Testing here the Cooke MiniS4 lenses mounted on the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera, wanted to understand the crop factor for these S35mm lenses on the S16mm sensor. Besides the crop factor, the image quality is superb. The encoding is very lousy since crop factor is the objective of this test. Ungraded. Thanks for watching!

I've tried to find a way to match GH4 and GH2 working on colors profile setting . GH2 1080p 24p ( flowmotion 2.02 Hack) Color Profile : Smooth -2-1-2-2 GH4 1080p 24p / 4K 24p color profile : Natural -3-1-5-1-0 pedest : 0 light/shadows 0 both camera iR and iD OFF I still had to color correct a little bit to try and match the colors and even so it is still slightly off, besides on GH2 WB I set to +1 M +1 B for fix geen color cast . GH2 at same aperture and shutter looks brighter , that's why GH2 at 160Iso vs GH4 at 200Iso all shots taken on a tripod same lens ,focal , aperture and shutter , at the same distance from the subject, even to see three different crop factors Just a simply experiment not scientific test
