Galatians 2:15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Old Testament Isaiah 52:14 in the bible, Gods words of pure truth, imparted, prophesied, & written before the coming of His only Son saying, “ As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:”, had come to pass. New Testament John 19:17&18 “And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.” 1 Peter 5:7 saying, “ Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. “ More truth for those who have an ear to hear, Romans 8:28 “ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Matthew 4:19 has also been one of the scripture references imparted for this outreach saying, “ And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. “

Originally screened on commercial TV in Australia (Channel 7) and the Australian Christian Channel, this program imagines the original Easter story in a modern-day context, particularly through the eyes of Pontius Pilate. There are also interviews with many other key figures in the drama including John Caiaphas (Leader of the Opposition), Tim Matthews (Commissioner of Jerusalem Police), and self-made multimillionaire Joseph Arimathea. Allowing us access to the Government's inner sanctum, Pilate speaks candidly about his role. He believed his decision to execute Jesus should have been the end of the matter - but instead the number of crises mount, culminating in a political scandal which could potentially bring down the Government! "An Innocent Man?" challenges non-believers with the Gospel message whilst helping Christians view this familiar story with fresh eyes.
