At last month’s Quality Café, we learned how Positive Deviance can shift cultures so that improvement can truly make impacts and become sustainable. We also heard about how several little tools called Liberating Structures can help us embrace colleagues in our improvement work – let’s learn some more about them! This session was recorded on October 30, 2013 and delivered by Katie Procter, a Quality Leader with the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council. Participants learned the art of getting inside your organization’s culture by using tools called Improvisation, Discovery and Action Dialogue, and the always-popular TRIZ. Watch a recording of last month’s Quality Café and learn more about Liberating Structures at www.liberatingstructures.com. About the Quality Café The Quality Café is a free one-hour lunch and learn series that takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 1200 PT. Each Café features a new guest and topic related to improving quality of care. Are you passionate about improving how health care is delivered? Come to Quality Café! We invite all health care professionals, patients, organizations, and educators to join our online conversation. Register for upcoming webinars at bcpsqc.ca/learning/quality-cafe/
