This nice guy came to me while I was guiding a birdwatching program with 3 year-old kids. We were painting each kid`s favorite Yosemite Bird. I asked him to move a bit cause I needed to put a sign where he was sitting. He was actually like a kid, so excited watching his "project" on a laptop; he was just in the wifi area probably having a chat date or something he looked so excited... I just said, are you having a party there? And then started a chat about flying like birds. He just said: what do you do? I said: I am leading this tour, but for fun I surf and climb, I am here to climb. So he kindly showed me around the North Dome Gully safely which was Super Fun. I thad a pot of cowboy coffee that morning! He just showed up and the rest is art, as he said: "Outdoor Arts are beyond sport, and for many of us its our spirituality" This is exactly the feeling we want to share with you, the sense of spirituality within nature, the wild. My last email with him just said: " I ´ve been tunnel visioned into this project, I will go to Europe: you are the rope gun now". Even though I met him just a coupe times, climbing is a wild rope connection, in which you can communicate deeper than talking thousands of empty words. This crappy quality, but emotional piece of movie, was recorded before action cameras appeared, in 2009. I just taped a fisheye to a nikon coolpix on my helmet to register "hands free" adventures. Guys all over the world, make sure you have a Super Fun Life. With all of the respect to Jen and your friends and family deserve, Bless you Dean.
