We were unpacking the car from a canoe trip when this fawn stumbled across our front yard and into Maya's arms. The fawn had a good sense about Maya and followed her every step. They were inseparable from the moment the met. Maya knew it needed its mother, who we believe was off eating and recuperating from the birthing, so she led it back to the woods until it finally hunkered down. We have not seen the fawn since. Update: we saw two doe and two fawns in our neighbors yard yesterday and then again a fawn and doe in our backyard today so we are pretty certain that she was found. Everyone please take breath! A little project we started a while ago in our spare time. The idea was to create different scenes of nature, one leading to another, each time with a little trigger, and without any cut. Here are the two scenes we've made so far.

PURCHASE THE DVD NOW: http://bit.ly/buytheriversdivide The River's Divide is an award winning documentary following Donnie Vincent on his two year bowhunting quest for a single whitetail buck notoriously nicknamed 'Steve'. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the North Dakota Badlands, an amazing story unfolds as Donnie experiences the highs and lows of chasing a single animal in the middle of the vast wilderness. ”It’s a film with a soul, something largely missing from TV/video/film coverage of blood sport.” - Field & Stream “Mind-blowing. Mesmerizing. The production quality, story-telling style and cinematography is the best I’ve seen, anywhere.” - Patrick Meitin ”However, like all rivers it seems to ebb and flow; much like Donnie’s journey for ‘Steve’, much like life. Do yourself a favor, set aside some time, be patient, and watch The River’s Divide... it's worth every moment.” - Bowhunting.com The River's Divide was named the Judge's Choice for "Best in Festival" at the 2013 Maine Outdoor Film Festival, selected to The River's Edge Film Festival in Kentucky, nominated for "Best Cinematography" at the Fargo International Film Festival and won best Dakota documentary at The South Dakota Film Festival. The film will also be airing on national television in the near future & is now available for purchase on DVD. For more information about the film visit: http://www.donnievincent.com. ALL THE ANIMATIONS SEEN IN THIS VIDEO WERE CREATED IN CAMERA. WATCH THE MAKING OF... https://vimeo.com/4378501 Using both praxinoscopes and the technique of matching up the frame rate of the spinning record to that of the camera, no computer super-imposing was used; what you see is what rolled off the camera. The transitions between each section of animation was created by simply cutting or wiping between the bits of footage. All the animations were created, drawn and coloured by the director David Wilson. Produced by Blinkink http://www.blinkink.co.uk
