Jazz Trombonist and Record Producer Delfeayo Marsalis Presents his first ever children's book "No Cell Phone Day" No Cell Phone Day is a children’s picture book written by world-renowned NEA Jazz Master and Grammy award-winning producer, Delfeayo Marsalis, and illustrated by award-winning Harlem artist, Reginald W. Butler. The book playfully addresses the idea of imposing technology and how it affects our relationships with loved ones. In the book, Delfeayo and his daughter decide to put down their cell phones for a day to explore their hometown of New Orleans! By contributing to this campaign, you’ll be helping us share this book and our message of quality family time, with kids and parents around the world. There are some really good rewards and two of them put books directly into the hands of students and schools in New Orleans. You can also get t-shirts, bookmarks, autographed copies of the book, personalized voicemail messages and private performances by Delfeayo Marsalis or his Uptown Jazz Orchestra. If we don’t reach our goal, we will still print as many books as possible and donate designated books to students and schools in The Big Easy.
