1. SOS Israel Attacks Internet Activists Worldwide

    from Doreen Dotan Added 167 0 0

Various bodies in Israel support the Israeli representative of SOS Kinderdorf Int'l, headquartered in Vienna, with the suggestion that those who turn to the internet with allegations of child abuse occurring in their institutions be criminalized and shut up. As SOS Kinderdorf International has institutions in 132 countries, and has received numerous complaints of child abuse in their institutions; this censoring threatens democracy eveyrwhere. It's important to find out who the founder, Herman (or Hermann) Gmeiner was, not what it says in Wikipedia, but who he really was. Please write me at DoreenDotan at gmail dot com if you would like to see the full texts of the communications between SOS Israel and SOS Kinderdorf International, which constitute a clear request for assistance in this matter. Contacts: If you contact them, please contact them in a polite and totally legal (!) manner so as not to give them any excuses not to take us seriously or give them a legal course of action against you. Sample of speeches at the first Soapbox Event at Federal Hall National Memorial, New York City. In Soapbox Event, Lindman pares down the structure of democracy to the elemental forms of free speech: human bodies, live voices, and space. This performance investigates the construction and breakdown of collective structures, and how they influence individual expression in democratic decision-making. The event highlights the relationship of embodied speech to the bare life of an individual, in the context of increasingly mediated communication.
