I always wanted to volunteer abroad, and so I did. I chose Cross Cultural Solutions. I raised four thousand dollars to pay for food, lodging and transportation. Thank you to those who donated! Why did I chose India? Honestly, because yoga originated in India. I was fascinated by the great minds that came from or practiced their spirituality in India like Ghandi, Buddha and Dalai Lama. Therefore, I went on a journey and met incredible people! The song, "A New Day Has Come" by Celine Dion was the song I listened to multiple times on this journey. I remember riding in the car with Fehmida, Jason and our driver driving to Jaipur under a full moon. I was filled with gratitude and love. Thank you.
