Number of children sickened by suspected outbreak of food-borne vomiting virus rises to 8,400. According to The Associated Press, German health authorities say the number of children that have fallen ill with vomiting and diarrhea after eating food from school cafeterias and daycare centres has risen from about 4,500 to 8,400. Authorities in Berlin and the surrounding eastern German states reported the new cases on Saturday, while laboratory investigations to determine the exact cause of the outbreak were still under way. Berlin's health department says the sicknesses are moderate and most children recover within two days without requiring to be hospitalized. Israel's finance minister says Iran's economy is "on the verge of collapse". According to Reuters, Israeli Finance Minister Yu-val Stein-itz said on Sunday that Iran's economy is edging towards collapse due to international sanctions over its controversial nuclear program. Israel regards the prospect of its arch enemy developing nuclear weapons as a threat to its existence, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that, although sanctions are taking their toll, they are not yet forcing Iran to abandon work that could soon lead to a nuclear warhead. However, Israeli officials appear increasingly ready to acknowledge the effect of recent American and European sanctions designed to restrict Iran's lifeline oil exports. Egyptian president’s adviser describes Israel as ‘occupied Arab Palestine’. According to The Times of Israel, An adviser to Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi on Sunday said “removing the constraints of the Camp David [Peace] Accords” with Israel is a top national priority, and referred to Israel as “occupied Arab Palestine.” In an interview with Egyptian daily Al-Youm A-Sabi’, Mohammed Saif Al-Dawla, an Arab nationalist and Morsi’s adviser for Arab affairs, said that the Mubarak regime provided Israel with “free services” which will not continue under the new regime. The Bible says in Mark 13:7: "And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet." The real danger is the loss of liquid and nutrients from the child's body, which can cause dehydration and malnutrition. Children with diarrhoea should be given lots of fluids and foods to help reduce the severity of the illness. The best treatment for diarrhoea is to (1) drink lots of liquids and oral rehydration salts (ORS), properly mixed with clean water from a safe source, and (2) take zinc tablets or syrup daily for 10--14 days. Diarrhoea medicines are generally ineffective and can be harmful. A child with diarrhoea should never be given any tablets, antibiotics or other medicines unless prescribed by a trained health worker. Diarrhoea is caused by germs that are swallowed, especially germs from faeces. This happens most often where there is unsafe disposal of faeces, poor hygiene practices, lack of clean drinking water, or when infants are not breastfed. Infants who are exclusively breastfed in their first six months and who receive all their immunizations on time are less likely to get diarrhoea Produced by: UNICEF, India, http://unicef.org/india HealthPhone™ http://healthphone.org The Mother and Child Health and Education Trust http://motherchildtrust.org .

Visit us on-line: http://hetv.org - http://factsforlife.org - http://healthphone.org Each year, over 1.4 million children die from diseases that are preventable with readily available vaccines. These diseases include measles, meningitis caused by Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), yellow fever, polio and hepatitis B. New vaccines against other illnesses, such as pneumonia and diarrhoea caused by rotavirus, have been developed and are now more widely used. Children who are immunized are protected from these dangerous diseases, which can often lead to disability or death. All children have the right to this protection. Every girl and boy needs to be fully immunized. Early protection is critical. The immunizations in the child's first year and into the second year are especially important. It is also essential that pregnant women are immunized against tetanus to protect themselves as well as their newborns. Although there has been progress in the past years in immunizing children, in 2008 nearly 24 million children — almost 20% of children born each year — did not get the routine immunizations scheduled for the first year of life. Parents or other caregivers need to know why immunization is important, the recommended immunization schedule, and where their children can be immunized. Parents or other caregivers need to know that it is safe to immunize a child who has a minor illness or a disability or is suffering from malnutrition. Visit us on-line: http://breastcrawl.org - http://tensteps.org - http://factsforlife.org - http://healthphone.org Babies who are breastfed are generally healthier and achieve optimal growth and development compared to those who are fed formula milk. UNICEF, WHO and WABA along with the scientific community strongly recommend initiating breastfeeding within a half-hour of birth. Evidence shows that early initiation can prevent 22% of all deaths among babies below one month in developing countries. If the vast majority of babies were exclusively fed breastmilk in their first six months of life -- meaning only breastmilk and no other liquids or solids, not even water -- it is estimated that the lives of at least 1.2 million children would be saved every year. If children continue to be breastfed up to two years and beyond, the health and development of millions of children would be greatly improved. Infants who are not breastfed are at an increased risk of illness that can compromise their growth and raise the risk of death or disability. Breastfed babies receive protection from illnesses through the mother's milk. I did this short for an assignment for my Production Workshop class at Chapman University. The assignment called for a video that would "show a person performing an action that tells the audience something about what kind of person they are." Maybe I missed the point. The actress is a sophomore theater major at Chapman named Laura Zenoni.

                    01:57

from No Allergies Please / Added

http://www.noallergiesplease.com Constipation is passage of small amounts of hard, dry bowel movements. The movements may be difficult and painful and people may also suffer from bloating or lethargy. Depending on the person, the bowel movements may be once a day or fewer. We know that the major trigger of this problem is delayed food sensitivities. Diarrhea is loose, watery stools occurring more than three times in one day and is also a common food sensitivity problem. However, prolonged diarrhea can be a sign of other problems. It can cause dehydration meaning the body lacks enough fluid to function properly. This is particularly dangerous in children and the elderly and must be treated promptly to avoid serious health problems. What we do is assist in the rebalancing of your body by using a revolutionary light technology to target specific acupuncture points. A recent survey compared the use of light technology over needles and light technology came out on top. We are certified acupuncturists specializing in this technique. The technique that we use is safe even for babies! We have a complex computerized device which helps us to determine what you may be sensitive to. This device contains information about various items, such as wheat, dairy, preservatives, to name a few. We use this same device to help your body rebalance itself so that you no longer experience the diarrhea or constipation previously triggered by those substances. If it takes more than two sessions to rebalance the same substance, wheat for example, we will continue rebalancing that substance for free. No questions asked! We are that confident. In a perfect world, we should be having 3 well-formed bowel movements daily, even 2 is acceptable. However in today’s society, one is a normal occurrence, but it shouldn’t be…if the waste doesn’t come out, where does it go? Contact our office for a FREE consultation (a $130.00 value) and find out how quickly you can address these symptoms!
