ABOUT ICELAND AIRWAVES: Since the first show held in 1999 (in an airplane hangar), Iceland Airwaves has become one of the premier showcases for new music – Icelandic and otherwise – in the world. It’s been called “the most innovative music festival since CMJ” and is “as responsible for all of Reykjavík’s positive press as Björk herself”. Some of the world’s most exciting artists - including Suede, The Flaming Lips, The Hives, Fatboy Slim, Thievery Corporation, Bloc Party, and Casio Kids - have made the short hop from Europe or North America to share the stages with Iceland’s finest talents: Sigur Rós, Gus Gus, Minus, Mugison, Jagúar, Dikta, Quarashi, Leaves, Trabant, FM Belfast, Steed Lord and many, MANY more. And when the live bands are finished, top DJs spin across the city until dawn... "WHERE'S THE SNOW?!" TRAILER PRODUCTION CREDITS: Directed by Bowen Staines & Gunnar B. It’s finally here – the anticipated second episode of DontPanicTV, featuring the inconceivably-talented and masterly Icelandic rock band, Agent Fresco. Experience the music Kerrang! Magazine and The Reykjavik Grapevine call, “Complex, crafted songs, overtly skilled musicians, frequent rhythm changes, and an impeccable performance - every time, all the time. Sounds boring as fuck, right? Well… Yes, because in the hands of your AVERAGE group of overtly-trained, ambitious musicians/music scholars, the results of such a mix would almost certainly amount to an abysmal free-jazz explosion of all things scaled, stylized and lifeless. Not for Agent Fresco, though. Hell, no. Agent Fresco is a band with a mission - one that will, without a doubt, touch the lives of many music-lovers in the not-too-distant future. For theirs is the future.” One cannot hum much higher acclaim than that, so leap, boogie, rage, sing, and experience the truly one-of-a-kind Icelandic rock detonation that is Agent Fresco.
