DRUNKEN NIGHTS provides emerging and early career artists with support and opportunities to create work specifically for pubs and bars. Drunken Chorus have so far presented six evenings of performance across London; fusing stand-up, theatre, dance, live-art, music, and even karaoke – all created specifically for a pub /bar setting. You can find out more about the project so far at http://www.drunkennightsblog.wordpress.com. We are now in need of a little help to continue the project, and to keep DRUNKEN NIGHTS free for all of our audiences. Anything you can spare will be a huge help, and will allow us to continue reaching new audiences and supporting the work of exciting artists. Please visit our Sponsume page to help us keep the events free for all our audiences: http://www.sponsume.com/project/accidental-drunken-nights

NIGHT OUT 11’:00. 2002. Francis Gomila. In Francis Gomila’s “NIGHT OUT” we witness a conflict between a man and a woman in the street. The row comes to an unresolved end when the passive-aggressive male is ousted from his peer group by a timely arrival of the police. This “real time”video employs no visual effects to soften our capacities as we follow the journey of the “wounded” male returning to the scene of his folly, just as the proverbial dog returns to his vomit.

for those of you who know me, it's common knowledge that i document my day with photography. i decided to switch it up and put everything on video. what was intended for a one-day project turned into two... because i fell asleep on sanders' living room floor. i hope you find this just as amusing as i did :)
