Very cringe-worthy video I made over 10 years ago on Windows Movie Maker of a school trip to Unit23 skatepark. Story here: http://dariodemarco.com/2013/05/06/the-first-video-i-ever-made/

A very quick and crude test of a potrable camera jib I made. A bit windy but I think overall it works quite well. Let me know if your interested in the 'very' simple construction of this!

Some film I shot on Sunday 13th January 2013 in the grounds of Overtoun House in Dumbarton. It was a crisp Winters morning with a lovely watery sun and the natural colours were beautiful. All film was shot handheld using a Canon EOS650D and a very cheep Vivitar 19-35mm zoom lens. The footage was then brought into Adobe After Effects, stabilised and edited. Very little colour correction was done on the video, apart from some keyframed curves adjustments to compensate for exposure changes in panned shots. My wife did the drawing of Overtoun House at the start of the film and all the way through on her iPad in Adobe Ideas which was then imported into AE. Music is Seeing The Future by Dexter Britain from his fantastic album Creative Commons Volume 2. I went out for a walk on sunday and brought my camera as I usually do. Decided to go to Dumbarton Oaks in Washington DC. Unfortunately I did not have a tripod so many of the shots are shakey. I wasn't planning on taking any footage but couldn't leave without some. Threw a couple of clips together and put some music to capture the atmosphere with the meager clips I had. Its my first time making a movie in premier as well as with clips from my Canon 60D. I am really pleased with the quality of the shots and hope to revisit the spot with similar conditions with the addition of a tripod.
