At a time when educators and policymakers are placing a high priority on quality early childhood education, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts today announced results of a four-year study showing that its arts integration teaching model bolsters young children’s math achievement. Additional resources, including a summary video with classroom demonstrations and the complete research report, may be accessed at http://www.wolftrap.org/stemartsstudy. Conducted by independent evaluators at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), Findings from the Evaluation of the Wolf Trap Arts in Education Model (the Study) examined the effects of an arts-integrated teaching approach on teachers’ practice and students’ math knowledge. • Spirit Ship :: A new video for our Kickstarter Project

We just redid the first half of our Kickstarter video! The new two minute intro (still followed by the film trailer), shot yesterday by Sean Eno, and cut today by Jenna Haley, is designed to give our project more of a human face (ie: mine and Heaven's, one of the stars of Spirit Ship), so we can draw in more backers during the last week of our campaign. This quirky conversation just scratches the surface of the story behind and the themes present in Spirit Ship, but it's a start . . . it at least provides some insight into who Heaven is and why I asked her to participate in Spirit Ship two years ago. To see more about Spirit Ship and to support its distribution to kids all over the world, just go to our project page, here: http://kck.st/fr0eMg If you like what you see, please leave a COMMENT on Kickstarter! We will be so happy to hear from you. Thanks so much for supporting Spirit Ship, so that Heaven's voice, and voices of kids like her, can be heard throughout the world! With spirit, hope and faith, Kristin B. Eno Little Creatures Films Red Hook, Brooklyn

Attachment Parenting is a philosophy based on the practice of nurturing parenting methods that create strong emotional bonds, also known as 'secure attachment', between the infant and parent(s). This style of parenting encourages responsiveness to the infant or child's emotional needs, and develops trust that their emotional needs will be met. As a result, this strong attachment helps the child develop secure, empathic, peaceful, and enduring relationships. This promotional video for the Ergo Baby Carrier offers testimonial as to how one carrier can facilitate both parents ability to wear their child, infant through age 4, comfortably, in any of four distinct positions. and the healthy lifestyle their ease of movement provides. I shot, directed, and edited this promotional marketing video for ERGO Baby on Maui. This is part of my demo reel. Sam Small, Director, Editor, DP. Feel free to add this video your channel.
