    Zambia is ranked 10 in the world for producing emissions from deforestation. The country risks depleting its forest cover in 15 years if the current rate of deforestation is not controlled. This frightening statistics have called for drastic response from government as well as stakeholders. Benjamin Mibenge popularly known as Uncle Ben is a graphic artist but he’s known for his environmental activism. The 68 year old man has dedicated his life into planting trees. His activism started when he graduated from Art College in Lusaka in the 1970s. With his first pay check, he bought a tree and since then he has been talking about tree planting.
