My name is Tamas, I am from Hungary. I have just finished the International Trade and Finance masters course in Leeds, and I would like to share my experiences with you guys, as you might also be considering taking this course. I have chosen International Trade and Finance because I have been very interested in understanding the issues that multinational companies have to face in terms of strategy, finance, and marketing. The course has even exceeded my expectations by giving me insights about how globalisation affects not only organisations but developing nations likewise. In overall terms, with the help of first-class teaching and 24/7 library services I have been able to better understand the dynamics of global economy

Wikistrat is an Israeli startup that provides an online model for strategic collaboration. Throughout the month of June, teams used Wikistrat’s interface to formulate and share strategies. Claremont Graduate University's School of Politics and Economics claimed first place and a $10,000 prize in the Wikistrat 2011 Grand Strategy Competition. The month-long contest pitted 31 graduate schools and think tanks from across the globe against one another to develop strategies pertaining to globalization and geopolitics. After being assigned to represent a country, teams forecast their country's national trajectory, developed national policies, brainstormed alternate futures, and responded to hypothetical geopolitical crises. cgu.edu/pages/4941.asp?item=5309

My 6 yr old and I decided to find out why people were protesting Wall Street. So on Sunday October 2, 2011 we visited the "Occupy LA" encampment and asked a simple question: "Can you explain why you are here?" The only catch was that they needed to explain it on a 1st grader's level. Here are some of the responses.... Enjoy and share:)
